There are 98 key laboratories, 78 fixed researchers and 20 floating personnel.

Fixed staff:  one “thousands of people plan” expert , two the State Council special allowance, two "Taishan scholars", two top professional and technical personnel in Qingdao, 25 doctors, 32 masters, personnel under the age of 40 accounted for the total number of 70%, has more than senior vice titles of the research staff ratio reached 45%.

The floating personnel consist of 10 foreign experts, 4 guest staff and 6 postdoctoral fellows.

The age, educational background, professional title and knowledge structure of laboratory personnel are reasonable, scientific research and development ability is strong, comprehensive quality is high, and they have the ability to undertake national research projects and participate in international competition in this field.
